Booth selection will be assigned based on arrival for set up. Since we are on a grass field we want to keep damage to the grass minimal. There will be a designated path to follow and we will place everyone in the order that they arrive.

Form Requirements

  • Release, Waiver & Indemnification Agreement Signed
  • Copy of Business License Required
  • Copy of Insurance Certificate (see requirements on page 2)
  • Copy of Fire Truck Permit

Registration Fees

  • 12’ x 12’ Space - $300
  • 12’ x 24’ Space - $500
Attach a photo or drawing of booth(s) listing actual size of booth(s). List all items to be sold in your booth(s). Only those items approved by Dixie State University shall be sold, no exceptions. If concessionaire sells items that were not approved, concessionaire will be shut down with no refund.
Dixie State University Dining Services accepts Cash, Check or Credit Card for booth rental fees. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot take credit card payments over the phone.

If Guidelines & Code of Conduct are not followed, the concessionaire/vendor will be shut down with no refund.

BOOTH SET UP:

Please be cautious while driving on the grass! Do not make sharp turns.

  • You can start setting your booth up at 12 pm Saturday, July 3, 2021. Your booth must be set up no later than 4 pm.
  • You are REQURED to use methods to secure tent/canopy to the ground, i,e sandbags. All vendors will be on grass. (Please watch for water line markings.) All booths may be inspected and will be charged $25 for each booth using DSU tie downs.
  • Your booth must not be larger than the size listed on application and must line up with your neighbor.
  • Sandwich reader boards, etc., are not allowed outside your booth area since they can impede traffic.
  • You must provide all your own booth materials: Generators, tables, chairs, sunshade, decorations, price list, extension cords, canopy, signs, garbage bags, etc. (Note: DSU does not provide WIFI or networking)

GUIDELINES:

  • Your booth must operate from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on July 3rd. Anyone leaving before 10:00 PM will not be asked back again next year.
  • Generators must be pre-approved.
  • Food booths will be required to have a copy of a current or temporary Food Service Permit on their booth. A permit may be obtained through the Southwest Utah Public Health Department www.swuhealth.org (435-673-3528, 620 South 400 East #400, St. George, UT 84770). Food booths may be inspected by Health Department.
  • A portable fire extinguisher must be in your booth also, and those cooking with grease will need a Type K fire extinguisher.
  • Taxes, permits and any licenses required by the State of Utah are the responsibility of the concessionaire.
  • We anticipate a large number of guests (expected to have 12,500 -14,000 guests). Please plan ahead to have sufficient supplies on hand. Vendors will have limited vehicle access to re-stock booths during the event.
  • It is still your responsibility to keep your area clean and provide your own garbage bags. Concessionaires who do not clean their area will not be asked back next year. Additionally, if the area is not left clean, DSU will impose a $75 cleaning fee. Please help us keep the University clean for everyone!
  • There is absolutely no soliciting or selling outside your booth space.
  • Only previously approved items may be sold at the event. If your application had any item(s) denied, you cannot sell the denied item(s). Selling of denied item(s) not listed on your application will immediately forfeit your space at the event, along with no refund of booth fees paid
  • Concessionaries will not be allowed to sublet their space.
  • No drinking or selling of alcoholic beverages. Dixie State is a smoke free campus. The concert and fireworks show is a family event.
  • Pets will not be allowed in concession area or concert area at any time, including setup time.
  • Violation of any conduct rules will result in immediate forfeiture with no refund of your space at this event and at any future events.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Dixie State University listed as an Additional Insured
  • Liability Limits:
    • $1,000,000 per occurrence
    • $3,000,000 General Aggregate
